The reserve is home to many species of animals and birds including the rarely seen Red Leopard. The reserve is privately owned by 125 Shareholders with no commercial lodges. It is a well managed and beautiful reserve with some stunning views across to the escarpment and some challenging 4x4 roads if off road driving is your thing. KPNR has some unique and pristine vegetation which enabled it to successfully convert to nature reserve status which should hopefully protect it for generations to come.
